Cooking creatively with Superseed 🍪

Here at Superseed HQ, we love to get creative in the kitchen - that's why we are dedicated to creating delicious, versatile products that are not only low in carbs and high in protein - but actually taste good, too.

We love seeing all the different ways our customers incorporate Superseed products into their everyday lives, from breakfast, lunch to dinner.

As the cold weather sets in, we thought we would share a few more of our favourite recipes that make creative use of our range! 

Seafood Chowder

Seafood chowder is an age-old classic for a reason. Nothing quite beats a simple, comforting seafood chowder on a chilly autumn day! 

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 carrots, finely chopped
  • 2 sticks celery, finely chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 potatoes, peeled, chopped
  • 4 cups seafood or vege stock
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups corn
  • 500g fish fillets- cubed
  • 500g marinara mix
  • 200ml thickened cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Method

Saute onion, carrots and celery in butter till soft. 
 
Add potatoes and stock. Simmer until potatoes are soft.
 
Combine 4 tbsp flour with 1 cup milk until it forms a smooth paste.
 
Pour into soup and stir until boiling and thickened.
 
Add fish, marinara mix and corn, gently simmer for 5 mins.
 
Stir through thickened cream and serve garnished with Superseed salad toppers and crackers for dipping.
